Volkswagen introduced a completely redesigned Crafter for the 2017 model period. This product should only be ordered for vehicles with the first-generation Crafter rear light design shown in the product photos.

A vehicle registered in 2017 or later may still be an earlier-generation vehicle. Confirm the vehicle generation and complete rear light shape rather than relying only on the registration year.

Compatibility may vary depending on Panel Van, passenger conversion, short-wheelbase, long-wheelbase, high-roof, tailgate, twin rear doors, production-date, and regional configurations.

Camper, motorhome, ambulance, minibus, box-body, and other converted vehicles may use modified rear body panels or different lighting units.

Compare the left and right trim frames and both complete rear tail light areas carefully before purchase.

Do not order solely by vehicle model or registration year.

Installation

Clean and dry all installation surfaces thoroughly before fitting.

Before final application, position both trim frames around their corresponding rear tail light areas.

Confirm that the left and right shapes, orientation, alignment, lamp dimensions, body gaps, and surrounding surfaces match the product photos.

Apply each trim frame carefully and press firmly across the complete surface.

Install only on clean, dry, smooth, and suitable surfaces. Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing the installed trims to water during the initial adhesive curing period.
